Acid Detergent for RO Membrane

Reverse osmosis membrane cleaning agent EQ-501 is a low pH liquid formula used to remove scaling of metal hydroxides, calcium carbonate, and other salts. It is suitable for aromatic polyamide reverse osmosis membranes, hollow fiber membranes, sodium filtration (NF) and ultrafiltration (UF); excellent cleaning effect can extend the operation time of the membrane.

▲ The diluent adjusts the pH to maintain between 2.0 and 4.0;
▲ Liquid medicine can shorten the mixing time and can be miscible with water in any proportion;

▲ Exlen membrane cleaning agent is suitable for all aromatic polyamide membranes and acetate membranes, with a low foaming formula;

Calculate the proper dosage based on the water quality analysis report and the membrane system.

Usually it is added into the rinsing box and dosage is 2-4%.

▲ Before cleaning, the contamination type of RO membrane components and cause of such contamination must be basically clarified, and take basically appropriate measures;

▲After cleaning, conduct analysis on the cause of contamination and take corresponding preventative

measures of pretreatment;

▲In the cleaning process, the temperature of cleaning solution shall always remain within the required temperature scope (25～35℃).

▲Adopt the recommended flow value of cleaning solution by membrane manufactures or agent supplier. In addition, the flow and soak time shall be determined by the contamination type of membrane components and severity of contamination (if there is no recommended value, the technical engineer of Exlen can provide guidance based on the actual situation.)

▲ Each stage of the multistage RO system shall be cleaned independently to achieve the most ideal effect.

If the solution becomes turbid or pH value exceeds the recommended range, we should formulate new

cleaning solution or add detergent. Before putting into use, the system must be flushed with water produced

by RO.

Normally In 25kg net Plastic Drum, IBC drum can also be used as required.Storage for 24 months

in room shady and dry place.

Weak acidity, Avoid contact with eye and skin, once contacted, flush with water.
